简要总结

This study is an observational cross -sectional  study  comparing keratometric measurements between portable hand held automated keratometer in sitting and supine position with table - mounted automated keratometer and IOL master in pediatric age group for a period of 6 months in 369 eyes of 5-15 years age group children attending pediatric OPD at Sankara eye hospital Guntur. Primary outcome measures will be to compare Keratometric values with Hand held automated keratometer in sitting and supine position for a period of 6 months . Secondary outcome measures will be to assess the variability of these measured K values with those of Table mounted keratometer and IOL master for a period of 6 months

入选标准

  • All Children between the age group of 5-15 years attending pediatric OPD at Sankara Eye Hospital Guntur from April 15 to September 15 2024.

排除标准

  • Children younger than 5 years
  • Known Ocular Abnormalities like Nystagmus, Squint and Cataract
  • Any Conjunctival/ Corneal pathology like opacity or dystrophy
  • Any previous intraocular or extraocular surgery
  • Current / Previous contact lens wear
  • Uncooperative subjects.

时间窗: Every 3 months

次要结局

  • To assess the variability of these measured K values with those of table mounted keratometer and IOL master(Every 3 months)
