Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Immediate effects of orthosis on shoulder muscle coordination, analyzed by non-negative matrix factorization;Long-term effects of orthosis on wrist muscle activity, analyzed by normalized Root Mean Square [RMS];Long-term effects of orthosis on kinematic variables, analyzed by Matlab R2012b software
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
ong-term effects of the orthosis on upper limb function and symptoms, obtained using the Dash questionnaire;Long-term effects of orthosis on hand function and symptoms, obtained by the Boston questionnaire;Long-term effects of orthosis on the strength of the pulp-to-pulp and tripod clamps obtained by the Pinch Gauge® dynamometer;Long-term effects of orthosis on pain intensity, obtained by the Numerical Pain Rating Scale;Long-term effects of orthosis on hand symptoms, obtained by the Douleur Neuropathique 4 Questionnaire;Long-term effects of orthosis on hand symptoms, obtained by the Short-Form McGill Pain Questionnaire
