Inclusion Criteria

post-lingually deafened
- adults (>18 years)
- at least one year of CI experience
- implanted with following electrodes: Cochlear® (Contour Advanced® electrode CI24RE or CI512), Cochlear® Slim Straight electrode (CI422 and CI522; Cochlear Ltd., Lane Cove, Australia) or MedEl Flex 28® electrode (MedEL, Innsbruck, Austria)

Exclusion Criteria

< 18 years, no single-sided deafness, pre- or perilingual deafness, implanted with a different electrode design
