Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patients requiring orthodontic treatment with extraction of bilateral maxillary
  • •1st premolars.
  • •2\. Age 16\-25 years old males and females.
  • •3\. Angles class I bimaxillary protrusion ,Class II Div I malocclusion(ANB\=5\)
  • •4\. Fully erupted maxillary teeth upto second molars.
  • •5\. Irregularity index \< 4mm.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Long term use of antibiotics ,steroids and anti\-inflammatory drugs.
  • •2\. Prominent canine roots ( in labial cortical bone).
  • •3\. Extreme skeletal class II mal occlusion(ANB \>5\)
  • •4\. History of previous orthodontic treatment.
  • •5\. History of systemic and medical illness.
