Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients posted for elective lower limb surgeries like femur surgeries, PFN with nailing, hemiarthroplasty etc.
  • Patients of ASA 1,2 \& 3 of either sex.
  • Age \> 60 years and above.
  • Height between 150\-175 cm.
  • Weight between 40\-85 kg.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients of ASA 4 \& 5
  • Patients on anticoagulants
  • With any bleeding disorder
  • Neurological deficit
  • History of drug allergy to local anasthetic
  • Any local infection
  • Known autonomic neuropathy
