Inclusion Criteria
Voluntary participation and consent
- chronic Achillodynia (= 3 months) without (partial) rupture of the tendon
Exclusion Criteria
- acute or not completely healed injuries of the lower extremity (especially ruptures or partial ruptures of the Achilles tendon)
- local inflammations
- serious diseases (cardiovascular/pulmonary/renal dysfunction, neurological/psychological diseases) that affect the quality of life and/or physical performance
- intake of perception-altering substances and/or painkillers
- Pregnancy/nursing period
