Inclusion Criteria

Abdominal obesity, (waist circumference >90 cm in men and >80 cm in women)

Hypertriglyceridaemia (S.Triglycerides level 150-600 mg/dl);

Low HDL cholesterol (S.HDL cholesterol <40 mg/dl for men and <50 mg/dl for women);

Elevated blood pressure (Systolic blood pressure 130-160 mmHg and/or diastolic blood pressure 85-100 mmHg);

Impaired fasting glucose (Fasting plasma glucose 100-200 mg/dl).

Exclusion Criteria

•Age below 20 and above 60 years

•Patients suffering from type 1 Diabetes mellitus and uncontrolled diabetes mellitus & uncontrolled hypertension

•Drug induced & uncontrolled dyslipidemia

•Systemic illness like Tuberculosis, Carcinoma and Endocrine disorders like Cushing syndrome, Hypothyroidism

•Patient having the past history of M.I. & Unstable Angina.

•Patient having Clinical Features of CCF

•Patient having the major renal or liver disorder
