Inclusion Criteria
Patients over 18 years of age (complete by the day of study entry); gestational age less than or equal than 20 weeks (defined by ultrasound); Patients with BMI > 18.5kg/m² singleton pregnancy
Exclusion Criteria
fertility assisted pregnancy; uncontrolled hypertension; recently diagnosed thyroid disease (< 30 days); history of eating disorder; bariatric surgery; mental illness; drug or alcohol use disorder; severe gastrointestinal disease

Name Time Method Expected outcome 1: We aim to find a higher proportion of pregnant women in the intervention group who do not exceed the weight gain limit according to the Institute of Medicine criteria defined for each pre pregnancy body mass index category.The maximum gain should be up to 16 kg for women with a body mass index higher than 18.5 and less than 25, up to 11.5 kg for women with a body mass index between 25 and 29.9, and up to 9 kg for women with a body mass index higher than 30. Gestational weight gain will be calculated by the difference between the weight at the beginning and at the end of the study. This difference will be compared between the control and intervention groups.
