Patient showing signs and symptoms of Prameha such as –1.Prabhuta Mutrata (polyuria)
2. Avila Mutrata(unclear urine))
3. Ati-sweda (sweating)
4. Daurbalya(weakness)
5. Pipasa(polydipsia)
6. Kshudavriddhi (Polyphagia)
7.Pipilika sancharanvat prachiti
8. Kara dahapada (Burning sensation)
9. Naktamutrata (Nocturnal urination)
and patient already diagnosed with DM type 2 such as –
b. Age 20-70 years.
c. Patient having their Fasting blood glucose level range of 120 - 200 mg/dl.
d. Post prandial blood glucose level range of 170 - 250 mg/dl.
1.IDDM, Acromegaly, Cushing’s syndrome and Pancreatic disorder.
2. Pregnant and lactating women.
3. Patient with gestational diabetes.
4. Patient suffering from Hepatic dysfunction, Renal dysfunction or Liver cirrhosis.
5. Patient in whom DM is caused as drug induced complication.
6. Those who are under Insulin therapy.
7. Patient with DKA, Lactic acidosis, Sepsis.
8. Patients with acute complications like hyperglycaemic coma, ketoacidosis and infections like gangrene.
9. Patients with K/C/O Nephropathy, Neuropathy and Retinopathy.
10. Patients with conditions like cardiovascular disease, acute MI, Immune compromised disease [HIV].
