In order to be included in the study, the patient must present himself/herself to the clinic of the Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Aachen as part of the regular implant recall program.
The group assignment is then controlled depending on the bone site in which the inserted implants are located: Group 1 includes the patients with implants in the local bone, Group 2 includes the implants in the avascularly augmented bone and Group 3 includes the patients Patients whose implants were placed in a microvascular graft (microvascular anastomosed iliac crest or fibula grafts).
The exclusion criteria are patients with an acute intraoral abscess, minors, pregnant women and patients taking antibiotics or drugs that affect blood flow or the physiological state of the intraoral mucous membranes.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The aim of this prospective controlled clinical study is to determine value limits for various perfusion parameters such as peri-implant hemoglobin concentration and oxygen saturation as well as blood flow and to compare these with the clinical examination results of patients with implants in different bone sites.<br>After completing the examination of 20 patients with implants in local bone, 20 patients whose implants are in avascular transplants and 20 patients with implants in microvascular transplants, the values of the clinical examinations are compared with the results of the perfusion measurements and correlations are determined.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Evaluation of the perfusion-related and clinical values.
