Inclusion Criteria

patients with NEWS >= 5 with suspected sepsis from a medical condition, aged 18 years or older

Exclusion Criteria

patients referred from another hospital without available medical records, patients requiring emergency surgery, patients discharged from the Emergency Department, patients with misdiagnosis, patients who have received antibiotics within the last 30 days, or patients and/or guardians refusing or are unable to consent to participate in the research
