Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Age 9\-35 years.
- •Emmetropic patients with unaided visual acuity 6/6\.
- •Convergence insufficiency symptom survey (CISS) score more than 16\.
- •Receded near point of convergence more than 7\.5 cm.
- •Exophoria at near (4\-prism dioptre greater at near than distance).
- •Insufficient PFV at near (PFV blur / break of more than 15 prism).
- •Willingness to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Convergence insufficiency patients previously treated with orthoptic exercise or pencil push\-up exercises.
- •Constant strabismus.
- •History of strabismus surgery.
- •Prior refractive surgery.
- •Vertical phoria \> 1 prism dioptre.
- •Manifest and latent nystagmus.
- •Systemic diseases known to affect accommodation, vergence and ocular motility such as graves thyroid disease, diabetes, multiple sclerosis myasthenia gravis
