The study is A Prospective Open Labelled Phase II Randomized clinical study to evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of VAEPPAM PATTAI KUDINEER 50ml BD for 30 days in 40 patients during the trial period of 12 months that will be conducted in Govt Siddha Medical College and Hospital Palayamkottai Tirunelveli Tamilnadu The primary outcome will be the therapeutic efficacy of trial drug VAEPPAM PATTAI KUDINEER for THANDAGA VATHAM The secondary outcome will be the evaluation of Siddha diagnostic parameters Safety of trial drug Pharmacological and Biochemical analysis of trial drug

- •Patients having symptoms of low back ache radiating to buttocks and lower limbs Pain aggrevated by forward bending Numbness in the lower extremities.

- •Patients with Systemic Hypertension Diabetes mellitus Cardiac disease Autoimmune diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis SLE Psoriasis Congenital spinovertebral deformities Liver disease Pregnancy and lactating mother Renal diseases Tuberculosis in spine.
