Inclusion Criteria

1.Inclusion criteria for the MCI group:<br>(1)Age =60 years old;<br>(2)Meeting the diagnostic criteria for MCI, including:<br>1)Report of a relative decline in cognitive function during the past year by the participant or informant; <br>2)Montreal Cognitive Assessment-Basic (MoCA-B) scores <19 for those with elementary education level, scores <22 for those with secondary education level, scores <24 for those with tertiary education level; <br>3)Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE) scores >20 for those with elementary school level and scores >24 for those with secondary level and above;<br>4)Preserved basic activities of daily living: the score of ADL<16; <br>5)Absence of dementia.<br>(3) Absence of self-reported visual or auditory impairment and normal reading comprehension techniques; <br>(4) Elementary school level and above and able to perform writing tasks on their own, able to cooperate in completing questionnaires and physical assessments;<br>(5) Able to make an informed consent. <br>2. Inclusion criteria for the normal control group:<br>(1)Age =60 years old;<br>(2)Absence of self-reported visual or auditory impairment and normal reading comprehension techniques; <br>(3)Elementary school level and above and able to perform writing tasks on their own, able to cooperate in completing questionnaires and physical assessments;<br>(4) Able to make an informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

MCI group and normal control group exclusion criteria:<br>1.Pre-existing or existing serious illnesses that affect cognitive functioning, such as physical illnesses, and severe mental illnesses (major depressive disorder, schizophrenia);<br>2.Inability to walk independently (using an assistive device such as a wheelchair); recent or anticipated medical interventions that may affect gait;<br>3.Those who are unable to perform writing tasks due to hand movement disorders;<br>4.Taking cognitive enhancers, drugs that impair cognitive function, or addictive substances within the past six months.
