• Accessible strawberry salespoint
• No or moderate intake of dietary supplements/vitamins
• No shift work
• Consumption of the tested foods in the past
• Weight < 100kg
• Regular influenza vaccination (planned but not considered (*))

We could only apply the first 5 criteria.
• known food allergy/intolerance in the subject, food allergy/intolerance to strawberries in the subject or 1st degree relatives;
• prescription drugs (except cholesterol-lowering drugs, antihypertensive drugs, thyroid drugs) / severe chronic diseases (e.g. cancer, diabetes, autoimmune diseases).

Name Time Method Changes in the biomarkers C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and LDL cholesterol, as defined in the ethics application dated 4/16/2021.

Name Time Method Change in other biomarkers (if available): HDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides, HOMA-IR, Phenotypic Age, IL6 & sTNFr1, GDF15, GrimAge, and other exploratory biomarkers (the preceding list was defined in the ethics application dated 04/16/2021).
