Inclusion Criteria
macular disorders (epiretinal membrane and macular hole), which have been operated with either vitrectomy 20 gauge or vitrectomy 23 gauge (retrospective)
Exclusion Criteria
all other indications for vitrectomy, status after perforating keratoplasty, retinal detachment, proliferative vitreoretinal disorders, ocular lymphoma

Name Time Method rate of intra- and postoperative complications with respect to both indications and 4 surgeons, and the best corrected visual acuity (decimal visual acuity measured in 5 m)
