1. Both males and females, no age limits
2. COPD patients able to comply with a course of lessons
3. Medical Research Council (MRC) dyspnoea score >3/5

Name Time Method Single breath counting and breath hold time. <br><br>All primary and secondary outcomes will be assessed at 7 weeks.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1. Quality of life (QOL): St George's Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ), Transition Dyspnoea Index, SF-36® Health Survey <br>2. Shuttle walking test (SWT) <br><br>All primary and secondary outcomes will be assessed at 7 weeks.
