Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Children needed to have a specific speech development disorder (ICD\-10\-Codes: F80\.1, F80\.2, F83\). Due to the close relation to phonological abilities scores below 50 points of 100 in the phonological short\-term memory for for non\-words (German: PGN) and one other subscale of the applied speech test SETK 3\-5, were also considered significant for inclusion in the study. German as the native language was also a precondition
Exclusion Criteria
- •previous experience with music therapy,
- •a diagnosis of autism or mutism,
- •and speech development disorder due to organic causes (e.g. deafness).
