Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •The age of 65 years for the elderly person and the age of the caregiver above 18 years
- •Having at least one ulcer in the stomach by endoscopy
- •The presence of H.pylori infection in the biopsy sample from the stomach
- •The presence of a caregiver at home and with at least a history of caring for the elderly in the last 3 months
- •Owning a personal smart cell phone by a caregiver or an elderly person
Exclusion Criteria
- •Cognitive impairment with a score of less than 23 on the MMSE
- •Ulcers in the duodenum
- •Having abnormal glomerular clearance rate and creatinine before starting treatment
- •Lack of reading and writing literacy in the elderly and their caregivers
- •Inability to perform daily activities in an elderly person and her caregiver with a score of less than 90 in Barthel index
- •Unwillingness to participate in research
- •Absence in training classes
- •Hospitalization or death of an elderly person or his caregiver during the research
- •Having a Q\-T interval greater than 0\.44 seconds on the patient's ECG
- •H.pylori stool antigen test became positive at the end of the intervention
