Inclusion Criteria
The inclusion criteria were being older than age of 16, average Frankfort-mandibular plane angle (FMA) (20-25), no systemic disease, good oral hygiene with gingival and plaque index value<1, no active carious lesion and being a non-smoker.
Exclusion Criteria
Medications and diseases that effect bone metabolism and radiographic evidence of bone loss were the exclusion criteria.
