Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • BMI >35kg/meter square,
  • diagnosed hypercholesterolemia patients with serum total cholesterol(TC) and triglyceride (TG) >200 mg/dl,
  • should not have taken Vitamin C , Vitamin E or other anti oxidant supplements for the last 6 months,
  • those who are willing to participate in the study

Exclusion Criteria

  • Plasma triglyceride concentration >400 mg/dl at baseline,
  • pregnant women,
  • those with infectious diseases,
  • use of tobacco products within last 6 months
