•1 Patients with a report of positive Dengue IgM test and platelet count less than 1.5 lakhs per cumm
•2 The patients of either sex within the age group between the age group of 15 to 60 years Based on this triaging patients were admitted to the Government District Head Quarters Hospital Aruppukottai and somewhere given home quarantine.
•3 Patients with mild and moderate symptoms of Dengue
•4 Patients of both sexes and willing to accept the Siddha or standard conventional treatment method

•1 Dengue IgM negative patients and patients of less than 15 years of age and above 60
