1) Endoscopic or Robot-Assisted Thyroidectomy
2) American society of Anesthesiologist physical class I-II
3) Aged 19-70 yrs
4) Informed consent
5) thyroid mass smaller than 4 cm in benign cases and smaller than 2 cm in potentially malignant cases without evidence of extracapsular soft tissue invasion or metastasis
1) allergy with local anesthetics
2) Chronic user of opioids or analgesics
3) Previous thyroid or thoracic surgery
4) Obesity (BMI = 40 kg/m2)
5) patients who cannot understand pain scale (score) or hard to communicate
6) pregnancy or breast-feeding
7) hepatic or renal insufficiency (estimated glomerular filtration rate < 60 ml/ min/1.73 m2)
