Inclusion Criteria

Aged 7 to 14 years;
Indicative of ADHD as a primary disorder;
No indications of developmental delays.
Total sample is 40 participants

Exclusion Criteria

Prematurity;
Established diagnosis of other conditions (intellectual déficit; epilepsy; genetic syndromes; HIV; hydrocephalus; brain lesions)
Current use of other medications except methylphenidate.

We hope that the group that received the combined intervention (medication and CBT) compared to single intervention (medication) present better results considering T score below 70 on aggressive measures, hyperactivity, attention, behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, challenging behavior / opponent in behavioral scale Child Behaviour Checklist (CBCL).<br><br>We hope that the group that received the combined intervention (medication and CBT) compared to single intervention (medication) present better results considering T score below 70 on measures Behavioral regulation, metacognition and Global Executive Function in Brife Scale (Quick Inventory of Executive Functions) answered by parents and teachers.<br><br>We hope that the group that received the combined intervention (medication and CBT) compared to single intervention (medication) present above average results for the difficulties indicator: empathy (mean> 0.41); assertiveness (mean> 0.84); self-control (mean> 1.07); participation (mean> 0.65).
