patient with ESRD
Not using antibiotics before the study
sterile conditions during catheter installation
Lack of evidence of infection in other parts of the body
Satisfaction to participate in the study
Exclusion Criteria
No end-stage renal disease or no need to install a catheter for dialysis

Name Time Method Incidence of catheter-dependent infection. Timepoint: 6 months. Method of measurement: Blood culture, Catheter lumen culture and signs of infection including fever and purulent discharge from the catheter site.
