(i) Bangalore residents aged 18 or older willing to participate and providing informed consent; (ii) Current smokers smoking at least one cigarette per day in the past 6 months; (iii) able to communicate in English language (iv) Have a mobile phone to receive SMS / Telephonic call.
(i) Smokers who were physically or mentally unable to communicate or currently following other forms of smoking cessation programme. (ii) Smokers with any form of smokeless tobacco habits and alcohol abuse (iii) Smokers with history of any co-morbidity conditions.

Name Time Method Ascertainment of Quitting of Tobacco use by self-report, CO levels in exhaled breath.Timepoint: The Follow-up visits will be conducted as per the Operational Guidelines laid by DCI towards Establishment of Tobacco Cessation Centres in Dental Institutes - An Integrated Approach in India â?? 2018. <br/ ><br>The Time intervals are as follows will be 1st Visit, 2nd Visit [7-10 days from first visit], 3rd visit [10-14 days from 2nd visit], 4th visit - [7-10 days from 3rd visit, further at 3 and 6 months.
