Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •\- Age over 18 years
- •\- Diagnosed with head and neck cancer
- •\- No history of cancer treatment during the past 6 months
- •\- Have treatment plan for radiotherapy which is expected to have
- •taste alteration as complication
- •\- Able to communicate in Thai and sign the consent form
- •\- Resided in Thailand during the past 5 years
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Loss of all taste sensation prior to radiotherapy
- •\- Unable to tolerate the test
- •\- Taking medicines affecting taste as side effects during the past one week prior to radiation, including cyclophosphamide, cisplatin, etoposide, zopiclone, azelastine, emedastine, amiloride, penicillamine, captopril, metronidazole, chlorhexidine, eprosartan
