Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients with indication for NIV\-initiation due to chronic respiratory insufficiency according to national and international guidelines
- •Patients who are able and willing to provide their data
- •Naive to long\-term NIV treatment, NIV therapy no longer than 7 days before inclusion into study
- •Signed informed consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •Inability to comply with planned study procedures or to comply with study protocol requirements.
- •Another life\-threatening disease (other than chronic respiratory insufficiency and underlying disease) with estimated survival \< 12 months
