Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •MRT detection of a nucleus pulposus prolapse of the lumbar spine
  • •Radicular symptom duration up to 12 weeks
  • •Radicular leg problems present
  • •Agreement to participate in the study
  • •Exclusion criteria do not apply

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Age \< 18 years,
  • •lack of consent,
  • •not meeting the inclusion criteria,
  • •known chronic pain patients,
  • •History of Implantation of material in the area of the Disc herniation,
  • •History of surgery of the lumbar spine in the last 6 months before study enrollment,
  • •Refusal to participate in the study, language barrier/lack of understanding
