Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Enlisted for lung resection due to pulmonary neoplasm
  • •Elective surgery
  • •Willingness of randomization
  • •Above 18 years
  • •Capable of giving informed consent
  • •Are the trial subjects under 18? no
  • •Number of subjects for this age range:
  • •F.1\.2 Adults (18\-64 years) yes
  • •F.1\.2\.1 Number of subjects for this age range 45
  • •F.1\.3 Elderly (\>\=65 years) yes

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Thromboembolic events during the last 3 months (both venous and arterial)
  • •Breastfeeding
  • •Anti\-koagulant therapy with an vitamin K\-antagonist or direct og in\-direct thrombin\-inhibitor
  • •Not sufficient pausing of thrombocyte\-inhibitors
  • •Allergies towards LMWH
