Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Pediatric patients between the age groups of 3 to 9 years irrespective of gender.
- •Primary molars with carious exposures of pulp.
- •Primary molars without any signs of pulpal degeneration
- •Primary molars with intracanal hemorrhage of bright red in color and successful hemorrhage control within 5 min of the removal of the coronal pulp.
- •Radiographic evidence of at least two\-thirds of the root length
Exclusion Criteria
- •Primary teeth having previous or attempted pulpotomy, pulpectomy or root canal treatment
- •Primary teeth showing signs or symptoms of pulpal necrosis, spontaneous pain, history of swelling or abscess or ï¬?stula or sinus tract, pain at night, pathologic mobility, and tenderness on percussion.
- •Primary teeth that need greater than 5 minutes to achieve haemostasis.
- •Primary teeth when ï¬?nal restoration with stainless steel crown is not possible.
- •Radiographic evidence of internal or external pathologic root resorption, periapical or furcal radiolucency, and more than one\-third of root resorption.
- •Primary teeth without a permanent successor.
