Age 18 - 65 years, both sexes.
Diagnosis of insomnia disorder according to DSM 5.
Difference between objective and subjective sleep time of 60 minutes (data from 14 days sleep diaries versus data of second night in the sleep laboratory).
Habitual lights out time from 22 to 24.oo hrs.
Informed consent.
Other acute mental disorders apart from Insomnia.
Other sleep disorders apart from Insomnia.
Shift work/ transatlanctic flights during last 4 weeks or irregular sleep-wake rhythm.
Regular intake of psychotropic substances in the last two weeks prior to the investigation or during the investigation.
Ongoing psychotherapy.
Pregnancy or lactation.
No severe or instable medical conditions with an impact on sleep.
