. Diagnosis of Unilateral or Bilateral TMJ Ankylosis: Patient must have a
confirmed diagnosis of either unilateral or bilateral TMJ ankylosis based on
clinical evaluation and diagnostic imaging, including CT scans.
2. Availability of DICOM Images: Patient must have high-quality DICOM
images of their TMJ anatomy, which will be used for creating patient
specific TMJ designs and conducting FEA
1. Insufficient Diagnostic Information: Patients with incomplete medical
records or insufficient diagnostic information for confirming TMJ ankylosis
will not be included.
2. Previous TMJ Surgical Interventions: Patients who have undergone prior
TMJ surgical procedures, including joint replacement or other surgical
treatments, will be excluded to maintain homogeneity in the study.
3. Other Severe Medical Conditions: Patients with severe medical conditions or
comorbidities that could influence the study outcomes or introduce confounding
variables will not be included
