Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Group 1: Tinnitus group
  • Individuals with a continuous type of tinnitus in one or both ears for at least three months
  • Tinnitus Handicap Inventory, THI rating\- Mild degree (grade I) and above
  • Pure Tone Audiometry average less than or equal to 40dBHL
  • Normal Middle ear functioning and Presence of Otoacoustic emissions. OAE
  • Group 2: Control group
  • Age and gender\-matched controls
  • Pure Tone Audiometry average less than or equal to 40dBHL
  • Normal Middle ear functioning and Presence of Otoacoustic emissions. OAE

Exclusion Criteria

  • Associated difficulties in verbal communication, health and mental status
  • Participants with symptoms of Parkinson or any neurological condition
  • Participants with moderate to severe depression
