Inclusion Criteria
- •1. When spontaneous bacterial peritonitis is suspected despite ascites due to underlying liver cirrhosis
- •1. If there is ascites due to underlying liver cirrhosis and spontaneous bacterial peritonitis is not suspected.
- •2. Age from 19 years old to 79 years old
- •3. Patients who sign a written consent form prior to study participation and understand that they have the right to withdraw their consent from study participation at any time without penalty.
- •4. Patients with archival specimens available for genetic analysis or patients eligible for specimen collection for genetic analysis.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1. Patients who refuse to participate in clinical trials
- •2. When collecting multiple urine samples cannot be performed aseptically
- •3. When it is difficult to collect a stool sample
- •4.Patients with a history of uncontrolled seizures, central nervous system disorders, or psychiatric disorders judged to be clinically significant by the examiner
