Inclusion Criteria

Individuals over eighteen years old; who have complaints of bad breath; have a Winkel Tongue Coating Index WTCI greater than four

Exclusion Criteria

Already use a tongue scraper; motor changes that may difficult the home use of the scraper; mental changes that make it impossible to understand the questions on the form; fissured or geographical tongue; failed to remove the tongue coating for a period greater than or equal to seven days
