- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The primary endpoint is physical activity (PA) related to participants' self-selected SMART goal (1) as measured by wearables and (2) as measured by daily self-report via ecological momentary assessment. Self-reports are prompted once daily in the evening. We will calculate goal-relevant PA from wearable data by substracting self-reported PA not relevant to the goal from the overall wearable-recorded daily activity. We further measure physical activity with the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ).
We expect those measures to correlate rather strongly and expect both to increase more strongly in the intervention than in the control group. Further, we expect a drop-off from post-intervention to follow-up.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The following variables are considered secondary outcomes. Measured pre- and post-intervention and at follow-up: self-efficacy for physical activity maintenance, subjective health status and well-being, prospective planning of physical activity, scores on the If-Then-Planning-Scale (ITPS).
Measured daily: mood, stress.
Only in the intervention arm: subjective goal fulfilment (daily) will be explored as a predictor of PA and self-efficacy at follow-up.
