简要总结
Group A – Muscle energy technique (MET) with Conventional Therapy protocol (strengthening exercises and moist hot pack) Muscle energy technique will be given for total 6 sessions (3 session per week) for upper trapezius and levator scapulae muscles. Muscle energy technique for 3-5 repetitions
Group B – Static stretching with Conventional Therapy protocol (strengthening exercises and hot pack) Static stretching will be given for 6 session total (3 session per week). Static Stretching for 3-5 repetitions for 20-30 sec hold. Conventional therapy protocol on daily basis for 2 weeks with application of 15-20 min hot pack to neck region along with postural advice. Treatment would be done under supervision with informed consent.

入选标准
- •1.Subjects with 4-12 weeks with mechanical neck pain
- •VAS score more than 4 and less than 7
- •Subjects with tightness and weakness of upper trapezius and levator scapulae muscle.
排除标准
- •1.Subjects with less than 4 weeks and more than 12 weeks 2.signs of serious pathology (e.g., malignancy, inflammatory disorder, infection) 3.neck pain with radiation into arms or upper extremity 4.history of cervical spine surgery in previous 12 months 5.history of trauma or fractures in cervical spine 6.Cervicogenic headache
- •Whisplash associated disorders
- •Osteoporosis
- •Any deformity (e.g., Torticollis, Sprengel’s deformity, scoliosis).
