Study Overview
Brief Summary
Infertility is associated with stress, anxiety and depression due with heightened social, sexual and relationship concern which in turn perpetuates infertility. Health benefits of yoga include reducing stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain syndromes and chronic conditions.In this study, we intend to assess the impact of yoga on infertility related stress and mental health and simultaneously its correlation with biochemical markers and clinical outcome.

- 20.00 Year(s) to 40.00 Year(s) (—)
- Sex
- Female
Inclusion Criteria
- •Women within age group of 20-40 years with infertility (primary and secondary) attributed to polycystic ovarian disease or unexplained infertility.
- •Willing to participate in the study Not performing any kind of yogic exercises.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Not willing to participate in the study Women with infertility already performing yogic exercises Women with infertility due to tubal block or severe male factor infertility (and not intending to use male donor gametes) Women with known psychiatric illness/ substance abuse.

Benefits of yoga on stress
Time Frame: 12 weeks
Secondary Outcomes
- Effects on yoga on anxiety, depression & reproductive outcome in women with infertility(12 weeks)
- Effect of yoga on reproductive outcome
