Inclusion Criteria
a.Patients who are unmarried.
b.Patients having regular menstrual cycles.
c.Patients with moderate to severe painful menstruation.
d. Patients having pain at least for two consecutive cycles.
e. Patients in whom pain is relieved within forty eight hours.
Exclusion Criteria
a.Patients with inter menstrual bleeding.
b.Patients under hormonal therapy.
c.Patients diagnosed with any pelvic pathology.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method a. Intensity of pain byVAS scoring and grading. <br/ ><br>b. Duration of pain by COX menstrual symptom scale. <br/ ><br>c. QOL assessment by WHO QOL questionnaire.Timepoint: On the recruitment day <br/ ><br>and on 2nd or 3rd day of second menstrual cycle respectively. Follow up will be done on 2nd or 3rd day of third and fourth menstrual cycle.
