  • •2\. Diabetes
  • •3\. Scheduled for elective cardiac surgery

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\. Pregnancy
  • •2\. Age \<18 years
  • •3\. Emergency surgery
  • •4\. Patients with diabetes on diet control or a single oral hypoglycemic agent
