- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The following paramters were assessed before and after the 6 weeks of intervention:

1) questionnaire: functional ankle instability (CAIT: Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool; FAAM: Foot and Ankle Ability measure)

2) experimental: muscular activity of M. peroneus longus (EMG-amplitude)
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Before and after the 6 weeks intervention the following parameters were assessed:
- plantar pressure in one-leg heel rise (EMED X)
- plattform movement (path) of the Posturomed plattform during one-leg stance
- muscular activity of ankle muscles with focus on m. peroneus longus in one-leg stances, split belt treadmill and side-cut movements (EMG time-amplitude measures).
