All the patients were right-handed, and over 55 years old, complained of memory loss, without objective evidence of memory decline. The cognitive function was not affected, the ability of daily living was normal, and there was no dementia. The score of dementia memory was at least 0.5. Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE). The scores of MMSE ranged from 24 to 30, and MOCA score 18-26; Coronal T1 weighted MR images showed medial temporal lobe atrophy with visual score greater than grade 1 (choroidal fissure enlargement only) or grade 2 (with enlargement of temporal horn of lateral ventricle), fluid attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) images showed white matter with a lesion rating of less than 2 (with high signal spots or patchy fusion). All the patients were right-handed, they voluntarily participated in the study and signed informed consent.
