Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age \>\=18 years.
  • •Hemodialysis treatment \>\=2 months.
  • •Conventional hemodialysis: twice or thrice weekly with 3\-5 h per dialysis
  • •Nocturnal hemodialysis: thrice to four times weekly with 7\-8 h per dialysis
  • •Hemoglobin at previous routine monthly measurement greater than or equal to 6\.5

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Absence of informed consent.
  • •Presence of clinical signs of infection.
  • •Incapacity of the Dutch language.
  • •Incapacity of filling out questionnaire,
