Inclusion Criteria

1-Patient who provides consent.

2-ASA physical status I and II.

3-Age between 18 to 60 years.

4-Modified Mallampatti Grade [MPG] Grade I, II.

5-Duration of surgery 30mins-120mins.

6-Patients undergoing elective surgeries under general anesthesia with single-lumen oro-tracheal intubations.

Exclusion Criteria

1-Patients with Grades of ASA III or more.

2-Patients posted for emergency procedures.

3-Patients with inadequate NBM for clear liquids.

4-Patient with diabetes mellitus type 1 & 2.

5-Patient on steroid therapy.
