Brief Summary

This study is a Randomized, Controlled, Parallel-group study on healthy Yoga-naive individuals to assess the effects of unilateral left nostril breathing technique on cognitive functions. The primary outcome measures include attention and processing speed, memory and executive function following a period of 15 minutes of the breathing technique and breath awareness in the test and control groups, respectively. The sample size will be a total of 20 participants.

Inclusion Criteria

Individuals who are willing to provide Informed Consent and to follow the study procedures.

Exclusion Criteria
  • Individuals practicing any form of yoga 2.
  • Individuals with any acute or chronic illness at the time of participation 3.
  • Individuals with a history of intake of any medication within a week prior to participation in the study.
