1Systematically healthy individuals of both
genders
2Class I malocclusion with bi-maxillary
protrusion with average growth pattern
3Class I malocclusion with crowding/spacing
difference within 1-3 mm between both the
sides
4Patients with full Permanent dentition
5Patient undergoing fixed orthodontic
treatment for the first time and requiring
extraction of 1/2 premolar
6Non carious fully erupted maxillary first
premolars with fullest root completion
7Patients without any habit of alcohol
intake and smoking
1Patients with systemic diseases like
Bronchial Asthma Hypertension Diabetes
Epilepsy Congenital heart disease
chronic liver disease Juvenile
Rheumatoid Arthritis G-6PD deficient
individuals Gastrointestinal problems
Bleeding disorders
2Pregnant patients
3Patients with ocular diseases
4Patients on any prolonged medication of
any other systemic diseases
5Patients with hypoplastic teeth
6Patients with caries or restorations on
premolars
