1. Willing to give consent to participate in the study.
2. Patients in age group between 30-60 years of either sex.
3. Patients positive for Zulewskiââ?¬•s clinical score for hypothyroidism.
4. Patient fulfilling the laboratory diagnosis of hypothyroidism on the basis of serum TSH, T3 and T4 levels.
5. Patients having uncontrolled TSH level in spite adequate doses of Levothyroxine.
1. Patients age <30 or >60 years.
2. Patients with ischemic heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular event, cardiac arrhythmias, pregnancy and active malignant disease were excluded from the study.
3. Patients with altered thyroid hormone levels due to other conditions such as undernutrition, malignant neoplasm or non-thyroidal illness (low-T3 syndrome).
