Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients undergoing any type of surgery (including obstetric) in
  • •operation theatre under anaesthesia.
  • •Case\- Patients with confirmed COVID\-19 infection either at time of
  • •surgery based on a positive COVID\-19 Laboratory test (Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction test, Rapid antigen test) anytime within 30 days prior to surgery or 7 days after surgery.
  • •Control\- Patients without COVID\-19 infection either within 30 days prior to surgery or 7 days after surgery.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patient less than 18 years of age
  • •Pediatric patient
  • •Elective surgery
  • •Psychiatric disturbance that precludes assessment of Quality of
  • •Control contracts COVID\-19 infection one week after surgery.
