Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients undergoing any type of surgery (including obstetric) in
- •operation theatre under anaesthesia.
- •Case\- Patients with confirmed COVID\-19 infection either at time of
- •surgery based on a positive COVID\-19 Laboratory test (Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction test, Rapid antigen test) anytime within 30 days prior to surgery or 7 days after surgery.
- •Control\- Patients without COVID\-19 infection either within 30 days prior to surgery or 7 days after surgery.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patient less than 18 years of age
- •Pediatric patient
- •Elective surgery
- •Psychiatric disturbance that precludes assessment of Quality of
- •Control contracts COVID\-19 infection one week after surgery.
