Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing any type of surgery (including obstetric) in
operation theatre under anaesthesia.
Case- Patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection either at time of
surgery based on a positive COVID-19 Laboratory test (Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction test, Rapid antigen test) anytime within 30 days prior to surgery or 7 days after surgery.
Control- Patients without COVID-19 infection either within 30 days prior to surgery or 7 days after surgery.
Exclusion Criteria
Patient less than 18 years of age
Pediatric patient
Elective surgery
Psychiatric disturbance that precludes assessment of Quality of
Recovery
Control contracts COVID-19 infection one week after surgery.
